New country singer/songwriter Sarah Hebert has been impressing live audiences with her dynamic and powerful voice since she was nine years old. Proof of her success in doing so is witnessed by the many singing competitions she has won in both Canada and the United States.
Originally from Fort Frances, Ontario, Sarah is now living in Winnipeg, Manitoba to pursue her music career.
In 2003, Sarah moved from Fort Frances, Ontario to Wolfville, Nova Scotia where she completed a four year music degree in vocal performance. While at Acadia Sarah studied under Paula Rockwell, Andre Haines and participated in Master Classes with opera superstar and Juno nominee, Measha Brueggergosman. Sarah’s years of training and participation in musical productions have given her the ability to control her instrument and perform at a professional level. Her musical theatre performances include Working, Nunsense, Godspell, Footloose, Anything Goes, Fame and Camelot.
Sarah discovered her true fate in life when she first sat down at the piano and starting writing music. As a singer/songwriter her music is influenced by emotional life experiences and is delivered through the beauty and quality of her unique voice.
Sarah is proud to be releasing her first album and have the opportunity to share her stories through her music. She recorded “The Fall” in Halifax, Nova Scotia at Ferguson Music Productions with producer Scott Ferguson. Her Cd release sold out in December and recently she has been promoting her album in both Manitoba and Ontario. Currently she had the opportunity to open for Canadian musician Kevin Fox and also perform on stage at the Thunder Bay Community Auditorium (Paul Shaffer Drive) as the opening artist for Canadian Olympian Mark Tewksbury.
Sarah is looking forward to promoting “The Fall” and not only entertaining but inspiring audiences across the country. Catch Sarah live in Winnipeg with the band "Retro Radio".
